Work one-on-one with small businesses related to certification, doing business with ODOT, and connecting them to any other business development. Small business and workforce related outreach planning and execution. Develop partnerships with other organizations within the region that provide resources related to business development or workforce development

Assist estimators and attend bid review meetings; establish project logistic plan and constructability reviews, as assigned by PM, PX or VP. Establish and manage field staffing and support. Recruiting, scheduling, training, promotion, layoff and discipline of field personnel; assignment of trade superintendents. Prepare, review, update and analyze project schedules on a regular basis with subcontractors, vendors, and project manager; communicate any schedule changes or adjustments to appropriate parties.

Greet and assist guests upon arrival. Answer phones and direct calls. Open mail / packages and deliver to appropriate office personnel. Keep supplies stocked throughout the office. Inventory office supplies and place orders as needed. Coordinate weekly cleaning services with outside vendors.

Develop a comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of contract documents including subcontracts, plans and specifications for the assigned project(s). Promote a positive culture and team environment within the project team and key stakeholders. Implement and manage RFI, submittals and RFCO’s.

Review and understand detailed list of Subcontracts and Purchase Orders along with contacts with Project Manager prior to the start of the job. Responsible for ensuring that company maintains profit margin on job.
